All of our featured personnel have skills in web design, HTML, CSS and project planning, plus, you also get the entire range of our individual specialties for each project, including graphic design, programming, content development, usability, and web marketing.
Founded by David R. Castranio in 1995 and located in Raleigh, NC, CRI Designs originated as part of an engineering group specializing in electrical safety training, and early work included creating training materials, presentations, business marketing designs, technical drawings and various publications. In addition to design, and due to a strong background in software development, CRI Designs moved quickly into database programming, offering custom database and MS Office solutions to small businesses. The rise of the Internet and demand for websites and web programs eventually brought together the need for both design and development services, thus shaping the business identity and focus. Large and varied web development and database projects established CRI's experience and technical knowledge for providing high-quality services with any challenge.
Although several employees contributed to projects through the years, the addition of talented designer and now Creative Director Gabrielle M. Underhill (2004) was instrumental in building the creative and artistic capabilities that have brought the company success. Several other strong employees eventually made CRI Designs the unique technology, design and marketing company it remains today. The addition of Web Designer Keri Giordano (2011) and Web Developer R. Andrew Stone (2012) has added to the team’s wide-ranging blend of talent as we continue to grow and evolve.
